This is NOT a sponsored post.  I am just in love with my recent purchase.

I don’t know about you, but my kid cannot keep her food off the floor.  Her new habit is to say “All Done” while quickly swiping everything onto the floor whether we’re at home, a friend’s house or a restaurant.  We’ve tried the whole…”Caroline, we don’t throw our food on the floor,” hand-slap time out routine, but it’s not working so when discipline isn’t the answer what always comes to the rescue?  RETAIL THERAPY for MAMA!

While having some mommy shopping time with my fabulous sister, I came across the Neatnik Saucer.  I was instantly attracted to it because it was bright and fabulous but after I saw a quick demo and learned what it’s function was…I was enamoured!

The Neatnik Saucer is a high chair cover and baby placemat all-in-one. Setting up the Saucer takes less than a minute, as does packing it up (because we all know that sometimes leaving a restaurant quickly is a must with young children)! The Saucer comes as one piece with two main components — the chair liner and circular tray. The chair liner portion fits in the seat of the high chair with handy slots for access to the safety straps.  There are two Velcro straps that prevent projectile toys or pacifiers from leaving your child’s reach. The tray portion is designed to overlap with and suction to the restaurant table. On the tray, you’ll notice a 1″ rim that comes in handy to catch any small food items and/or liquids that would otherwise fall to the floor. It looks like this…

Incredible right?  I know.  I just HAD to share.  It cleans easily and is a Godsend for all restaurant staff.  The best thing is that is comes with a storage case that is equally bright and fabulous and is the perfect size to stay in your diaper bag or your car.

The point is…all mommies NEED one of these.  If you know someone who is about to be a mom this would make a great gift and if you’re a mom, this is a great gift for you and your floors! We’ve used ours at home AND on the go.

Are there any inventions by moms for moms that have made you scratch your head and say “Why didn’t I think of that?!”
