  1. I obviously had to enter this giveaway because I LOVE Kung Fu Saloon, and I love The Dan Band. Plus I have a group of friends that are going butttttt college budget has restricted me from purchasing the $120 ticket. (So sad to be me).

I’m trying the think of the lamest NYE night that I’ve ever had and realistically, they’ve all been pretty horrible. Last year, we got a party bus to go downtown and while it sounds like the night would be so full of fun, it was full of stress. We left a huge group at the apartment complex we had to meet at because they didn’t get there on time, half the people on the bus had already received tickets before our departure for a number of reasons, the bar we had our wristbands to was sooo ghetto, I missed Lil Flip’s performance, and as if our group wasn’t small enough.. we left another number of people who didn’t make the bus back. Lame might not be the word for it, but miserable is the definite adjective to describe ringing in the new year of 2011.

(Both of yalls pages are liked and the giveaway is shared on my wall…..even though I don’t want ANYONE else to see it, 🙂

  2. This is the coolest giveaway! My husband and I LOVE the Dan Band and have always wanted to have a party and have them come:)

I would have to say that my most horrible new years eve was when I was 10. My family always used to get together on New Years Eve and pop fireworks. I had the cutest kitty named Tom, and the noise scared him and he ran away. My dad spent all night looking for him, but he was never found:( I’ve always hoped that he found a good home. I don’t really pop fireworks anymore.

SAD!!! Thanks for the cool giveaway! Love the blog

  3. I would love to go see the Dan Band. I have some friends who have tickets and I’m horribly jealous of them! I guess my lamest New Year’s Eve was in 2000. I was so excited because I was 18 and I wanted to go out to dance clubs to party my way into the new millennium but none of my friends were able to get permission from their parents. So, instead we hung out with my family and feel asleep before midnight on the couch while our parents toasted with champagne around us. Very sad!

Both Austin Moms blog and Kung Fu Saloon are liked on my page and even though I don’t want other people to know about the contest, I’m sharing this post & the blog on my wall 😛
