With the day of love around the corner, I thought it would be helpful to share some creative ways to spread some love without breaking the bank. This has nothing to do with getting naked ladies, this is about getting crafty! Allison is our proud money-saving mama, but one thing I have yet to share with you all is that I’m nutso for thoughtful gifts and cards. I just love, love, love, thoughtful gifts and cards (sending them and receiving them and everything about them!)

Here are three things you can do in this next week to show your significant other that they still make you swoon! Now that I think about it, these can all be adapted to your kiddos, too!

52 Things I Love About You Deck of Cards

First up, the “52 Things I Love About You” deck of cards. This is actually what I’m working on for Matt–so hopefully he’s not reading this.

What You’ll Need:

1) Deck of Cards

2.) A Single Hole Puncher

3.) Binder Rings

4.) Construction Paper (Optional)

5.) Glue

What You’ll Need to Do:

1.) Think of 52 Things You Love about your man/woman/child (seriously the hardest part!)

2.) Take the time to either write them on each card or type and print them on the construction paper

3.) Assemble your gift.

This link here will take you through more details instructions but that’s the gist of it. Easy. -Peasy.

3.) Take the final Alphabet Letters and single hole punch them and assemble with binder rings.

Library Card Love Story

Things You’ll Need:

1.) A library card or maybe if you’re reallllyyy creative you can just make one through InDesign or Publisher.

2.) A list of significant dates for you and your love

3.) A frame

What You’ll Need to Do:

1.) Either type out the date in chronological order or write them on the card like the picture.

2.) Frame it.

Note: I think her handwriting sucks, so if yours is better than writing may not be the worst idea.

I hope you try one of these fun and crafty gifts!
