You’ve all been offered one…you know…a thing to throw on your already heavy key chain that will earn you points at Babies R Us or Toys R Us and initiate you in the Rewards R Us club.
Well, I don’t know all of the dirty details, but basically if you spend $150, you get $5 in Rewards. You cannot earn more than $20 per month and $60 per earning period (I’m guessing it’s quarterly payouts.)
The other “perk” to being enrolled in the Rewards program is access to deals like this one…”Buy 9 VALUE BOXES of Huggies and get one Free.” Now, I don’t know if you’ve gone diaper shopping lately, but buying NINE value boxes is not cheap and certainly not worth one free box…unless you’re rollin’ in the $$.
Now, I love Babies R Us…don’t get me wrong, but their “Rewards” program is not worth the extra keychain weight for the average mama. However, I have heard great things about Amazon Prime…anyone have any experience on that front?
The MOST annoying thing to me about BRU is when they sent me those 20% off ANY One Item!!! Only to read the fine print and it is not valid on ANY items I need! No formula, diapers, wipes…I am pretty sure they are only valid on handgers. ANNOYING!!!! And false advertising!
I LOVE Amazon Prime!!! The Rewards R Us does not impress me.
