I kept hearing about this great new park in Round Rock, everyone said it was a must-go-ASAP. So I did and WOW, it was so much fun, it is by far my favorite park to take my kiddos!. It is the Play for All Abilities Park in Round Rock by the Raab House off A.W. Grimes and HWY 79. You can read more about it here. I also got some info ahead of time from Free Fun in Austin.

The 51, 000 square foot park was designed for children with all abilities. There are many different pods including: music, sandbox, sensory pods, all abilities swings, all abilities playscape, mini town, plus more. There is plenty of shade so you can take blankets and stay for a while. We always pack a lunch when we go and stay for a few hours.

When I take my big boys they bring their scooters to ride in the mini town, it is a mini Round Rock and includes an HEB Plus, Wag-a-Bag, hospital, car dealership, fire station, plus more. It has streets, sidewalks, working street lights…the whole works. It is too cute!

This is the first park that I love going to and staying for a long time. I take my kids to parks often, but I don’t love them. I know this next statement is going to be shocking, but I don’t like going to Zilker Park {gasp!}, I know I know…it is very anti-Austin of me to even say such a thing. Sorry, I am just being honest. I refuse to take my kids there alone, I only go with my hubby. That could be a whole other post, but I don’t want to offend bother you with it ;). Anyway, I LOVE taking my kids to the Play for All Abilities Park!!! If you haven’t been yet, GO…hurry, your kids will thank you!
