Hi Austin mommies! I’m April Russell. My husband Lance and I are Austin transplants from the piney woods of northeast Texas, along with our chubby pug, Muffin. We recently welcomed our daughter Harlow into the family in August, and we are still getting the hang of this “parent” business. Babies can go to concerts, right??
I’m a meditating, breastfeeding, cloth-diapering, baby-wearing, co-sleeping, natural-birthing kind of mother. My husband and I try to fill our lives with as much positivity and laughter as we can manage.
What I love: cooking meals for family and friends; baking; hiking and canoeing; knitting; running; swimming; reading good books; baby clothes that look like adult clothes; and listening to records with Lance
What I dislike: driving; the smell of Chili Cheese Fritos; changing diapers; people who talk during movies; cold weather; sweeping the floors; and bad attitudes
