We live in the generation of social media. Instagram, Facebook, Youtube, Google+, Twitter… you name it and I’ve probably got an account. There’s a new social media market that I recently learned about and I’m so excited to share it with everyone I know!!!

What if you could take all of the social media memories you’ve uploaded and send them to your loved ones? Let me explain. My best friend set up an email for her unborn son when she first found out she was pregnant in hopes to pass along messages when he was older. Imagine this though: A loved one took a video of you at the hospital about to deliver your baby asking you questions about how you feel, how you came up with your soon-to-be child’s name, how you felt when you first learned you were pregnant, etc. What if you could then put that video in a special place and have it sent to your child on a certain date or particular milestone? This is what OneDay has created and even though I’m still a newbie on the site, I am absolutely in love with it and the concept!

I’m not going to lie… at first I was a little overwhelmed when I created an account, but then once I started playing around with it I realized how easy the entire process was!

Here’s the super easy process!

  • Set up a FREE account {OneDay is currently FREE, but not for long!}
  • Answered several questions about myself for my personal profile
  • Created profiles for myself, kids, husband, etc. {you have the option to set up an account and then pass it on to that particular person to manage}
  • Began syncing photos from Instagram, Facebook, etc. {OneDay has made this step super easy…you just sync your photos and OneDay does the dirty work of putting them in order to create your timeline}
  • Next I created a vault for my husband {a vault is basically where you can create time capsules for an important person in your life so that it sends them a particular video, photo, etc. on a date or milestone of your choosing}. What if you could have a video sent to your spouse on your 5 year wedding anniversary of you preparing for the big day? I missed the boat on that one, but there are still so many monumental milestones that I won’t miss out on thanks to this ingenious site! I’d love to send my oldest {3 years old} a video of him falling off his tricycle and crying hysterically the day he turns 16 and gets his first car. The sky is really the limit with this one. And these are forever cherished memories that your favorite people will have with them for a lifetime.

I can’t begin to tell you how seamless this process was and the fact that I have all of my photos, videos, letters, etc. streamlined in one spot that genuinely tells a shareable story to my favorite people on this planet is truly priceless.
