Raise your hand if you’ve been to the new See’s Candies location in north Austin (Arboretum area)? If not, pack up your kids, get in the car and head there today. I promise you’ll thank us. For you locals, the new Austin See’s is located at 10710 Research Blvd. We highly recommend checking them out…and when you do, make sure to get the Scotchmallows (heaven), the Bordeaux (party in your mouth), and the Jellybird Eggs (you’ve never had anything like this, I promise…but they’re seasonal, so be on the lookout). See’s has an enormous selection of specialty candy, plus lots of specific holiday yummies (Father’s Day is just around the corner!)…it’s quite a cultural phenomenon in California, and we foresee it becoming the same for Austinites, as See’s will be both a traditional go-to for holidays or simply for that guaranteed yum factor to satisfy your sweet tooth!
