Father’s Day is quickly approaching, and you may be wondering what to do that day with your family. Something that your husband will enjoy (obviously) and the kiddos will also be entertained by.

Here are a few Austin activities!

Austin Father's Day Activities

TopGolf – You don’t have to be an expert golfer to enjoy top golf. Most men love it, and it’s easy for children to play. Great food, drinks and music.

BBQ Tour – For the meat loving Father, there’s no better way to show him you love him than through his stomach.   Take an Austin BBQ tour. There are plenty of restaurants to choose from (The Salt Lick, Stubbs, Iron Works, Franklin’s, Rudy’s, La Barbecue and many more).

Beer Garden – If Dad enjoys a good beer, take him to Scholz Garten downtown to have an authentic German beer and enjoy some hearty German food.

Day at the Lake – Fishing, kayaking, paddle boarding…just a few of the lake activities Austin has to offer. It’s always a good weekend when there is time spent outdoors, and time on the water only makes it better. Let Dad be adventurous and choose what outdoor activity he wants to do. Maybe that’s renting a boat for the day, or taking a swim in Barton Springs or Deep Eddy Pool.

Go Karts – Let Dad connect with his inner kid, and take him Go Kart racing. The whole family will surely enjoy this activity, especially if you throw in pizza and arcade games. Check out Austin’s Park n’ Pizza or K1 Speed.

Man Shopping – Man shopping = quick and to the point.  Take him to REI, Dick’s Sporting Goods or Bass Pro Shop and let your man pick out something he’s always wanted.

Father's Day

Or maybe Dad simply wants some time to himself.  I’m sure he could use a good nap.

What will you be doing for Father’s Day? Will it be a laid-backed day or full of activities?
