NEW PLAY AREA UNVEILED AT ROUND ROCK PREMIUM OUTLETS

“Everything is bigger in Texas” with addition of Texas-themed play area

Round Rock Premium Outlets is pleased to announce the addition of a new children’s play area opening to the public on Saturday, October 6 at 11 a.m.

Parents! Take a break from shopping and have your children say ‘howdy’ to the new Texas-themed play area. Located next to the Disney Store, across from Auntie Anne’s Pretzels and rue 21, the 3,000 sq. ft. play area is constructed of soft rubber material and features a variety of Texas-themed structures that allow children to play, climb and slide.

“We are very excited to announce this valued amenity at Round Rock Premium Outlets,” said Rachel Imbriale, Director of Marketing and Business Development. “The new children’s play area is just one way to show that everything is bigger in Texas including this new play area and the way we enhance the shopping experience for parents and children alike.”

Families in the community are invited to celebrate the grand opening on Saturday, October 6 from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. with festivities including a DJ, selfie station, ice pops and delicious bites from the infamous Waffle Love food truck.

The play area is a free, outdoor activity center specially designed for children under 42” tall that is ADA compliant and includes a cowboy boot and hat, armadillo and longhorn anti-bacterial play elements. The Round Rock Premium Outlets play area is not only fun, but it also contributes to exercise and positive developmental growth in a safe environment. Slides and climbers promote social interaction and development, cognitive development and problem-solving skills. 

For parents, it serves as an entertainment stop for children while watching all the action from benches that surround the gated play area.
