Get ready to celebrate with your best oooos and ahhhhs at some fantastic firework shows for Independence Day! With so many options around Austin and neighboring towns, you’re sure to find one that best fit your family’s needs whether that be location, timing or crowd convenience.

HEB Austin Symphony July 4th Concert & Fireworks

  • Where: Auditorium Shores at Town Lake Metropolitan Park
  • When: July 4th 8:00pm
  • Details:  The largest Independence Day celebration in the middle of downtown Austin! Fireworks display over the city skyline with a live performance by the Austin Symphony Orchestra. Grab your spot on the lawn early to enjoy food, drinks, and family fun prior to the fireworks show.  The fireworks start at 9:45pm.

Willie Nelson’s 4th of July Picnic & Fireworks

  • Where: Circuit of the Americas – Austin360 Amphitheater
  • When: July 4th, 11am
  • Details: A star-studded lineup of all-day music capped off with a firework show. What could be better!? Headlining this year’s show is Luke Combs, who exploded onto the country music scene with five number one hits with his first five single releases. Gates open at 11am and music starts at 11:30am. Tickets range in price, lawn tickets starting at $45.

Independence Day Festival

  • Where: Hill Country Galleria in Bee Cave
  • When: July 4th, 4pm
  • Details: Art vendors, live music, barbecue, festival food, fair rides, and of course fireworks! Over 75 different vendors will be lined up along the streets of the Galleria for shopping. Live music starts at 4pm and the night ends with fireworks at approximately 9:15p. Note: This event is dog friendly if you’d like your pooch to celebrate with you!

Fire in the Sky

  • Where: Dripping Springs Ranch Park in Dripping Springs
  • When: July 4th, 5pm
  • Details: Enjoy the fireworks with the family for free or purchase tickets for a VIP dinner beforehand featuring BBQ, live music, local beverages, and more. Tickets to the dinner can be purchased here. Note: This dinner is in an air-conditioned space, essential for that July heat!

Stars & Stripes

  • Where: Grey Rock Golf Course
  • When: July 4th, 6pm
  • Details: Purchase $15 wristbands (free for kids under 10) to get a relaxing view of the event on the 18th Fairway. Great food for the whole family, relaxing location, and Grey Rock’s firework show is the best in South Austin!

July 4th Frontier Days Celebration 2019

  • Where: Old Settler’s Park in Round Rock
  • When: July 4th, 12pm
  • Details: Carnival rides, jalapeño pepper eating contest, Swifty Swine Pig Races, children’s games, Sam Bass Shootout, a grand firework show, and an outdoor movie complete the night. Free ice cream at 7pm, a firework show at 9pm, followed by an outdoor screening of the movie Captain Marvel.

4th of July Extravaganza

  • Where: City Park in Lockhart
  • When: July 3rd, 5pm (NOTE: JULY THIRD)
  • Details: Food, arts and crafts shopping and games for the kids begin at 5pm. At 8pm be amazed by a fantastic show put on by Skydive Spaceland San Marcos, followed by a spectacular firework display at dusk.

Pfirecracker Pfestival

  • Where:  Pfield in Pflugerville
  • When: July 4th, 5pm
  • Details:  Food trucks and a kid’s area kick off the Pfestival starting at 5pm outside Gate D. The Kid’s Area includes inflatables and face painting at no charge. The stadium opens at 6pm, live music begins at 6:30pm, followed by fireworks at 9pm. Note: Pfield follows the clear bag policy, complimentary clear bags will be available at the event.

4th of July at the Park

  • Where: San Gabriel Park in Georgetown
  • When: July 4th, 11am
  • Details: The celebration kicks off with a parade at 11am. Activities, games, food and drink vendors will all be available starting at noon with a fabulous firework finale beginning at 9:30pm.

Summer Fest

  • Where: San Marcos Plaza Park in San Marcos
  • When: July 4th, 6pm
  • Details: Children’s costume contest, a parade, live music all day long, and a firework show. Be sure to leave time to float the river before the firework show begins at 9:30pm.

FourthFest

  • Where: Wells Branch, Katherine Fleischer Park
  • When: July 4th, 10am
  • Details: A kiddy train, balloon clowns, inflatables, dunk tank, face painting, photo booth, and carnival games all kick off under the “Big Tent” at 11am. In addition, the Katherine Fleischer pool is open and free to the public until 8:45pm.  A Silent Auction will be held with great gift baskets and gift certificates. All money raised will fund the other annual events.

4th of July Celebration

  • Where: Elizabeth Milburn Park in Cedar Park
  • When: July 4th, 5pm
  • Details:  The celebration opens at 5pm at the park and will feature live music, bingo, a washer tournament (at 4 pm), air castles, free laser tag (5-9pm), free watermelon and a fireworks display. The fireworks display begins at 9:15pm, followed by an “After Glow” dance at 9:45pm. The Milburn pool is also open from 1p-8p with daily admission rates.

Independence Day Celebration Fireworks Show

  • Where: Plum Creek Golf Course in Kyle
  • When: July 4th, 6pm
  • Details:  The pre-show celebration at the PCGC Clubhouse is free to the public and includes live music and a fantastic viewing location for the fireworks. Hot dogs and cold drinks will be sold under the large tent, along with other snacks. Fireworks will be launched over the golf course around 9:30pm.

Liberty Fest 

  • Where: San Gabriel Campus in Leander
  • When:  July 4th, 5:30pm
  • Details: Leander’s largest annual event includes live music, food, children’s activities, and a spectacular firework show to close the night! Admission is free, however $10 Kids Zone wristbands can be purchased at the city info booth.

4th of July Celebration 

  • Where: Bar K Park in Lago Vista
  • When: July 4th, 8am
  • Details:  This family friendly event will include a firework show at dark, Slip and Slide baseball, train rides for kids, cotton candy, ice cream, food trucks and a dunk tank. End the day with a beautiful view of fireworks lighting up the lake below.
