Happy fall y’all! I’m pretty sure the fall season makes just about everyone happy! The {very slight} chill in the air, the tree leaves starting to change color, and pumpkin spice everywhere, all the time!!! Fall is such a fun, cozy time to gather with friends and family for a yummy meal. The Autumnal harvest provides a beautiful array of color, and plentiful assortment of squash, potatoes, pumpkins, apples and more! 


I’ve put together a fall inspired recipe list that will motivate you to use some of our glorious, seasonal produce… And then relish in how amazing your house smells!! 🙂

  1. First up! A PSL by Detoxinista!

What signals the arrival of the fall season MORE than a Pumpkin Spice Latte?! Starbucks put this drink on the map in 2003, and I’m not sure there has ever been a coffee drink with a greater impact on popular culture! If you are looking for a version that won’t set you back 50 grams of sugar, try Detoxinista’s Pumpkin Spice Latte Recipe. I’m all about enjoying life, especially during fall and winter.  If I can find a treat that tastes as good as the original, without refined sugar and artificial ingredients. I’m all in! 2. One Bowl Pumpkin Chocolate Chip Muffins by Real Food Whole Life


While you are at it, whip up some Pumpkin Muffins to enjoy with your PSL! My kids and I make these One Bowl Pumpkin Chocolate Chip Muffins all the time! They are the perfect afternoon treat, super simple and surprisingly {sort of} healthy! 

3. Sweet Potato, Kale, Turkey Chili by Nutrition in the Kitch

Nothing screams fall more to me than Chili! I love switching it up and varying my chili recipe. Sometimes I use shredded chicken, other times grass-fed, ground beef or ground turkey.  If you are in the mood to move away from your traditional “go-to” recipe. Try this Sweet Potato, Kale & Turkey Chili by Nutrition in the Kitch. I’ve been making a version of this chili since my first Whole30 in 2013. It’s really healthy and anti-inflammatory but also delicious! If you simply cannot eat chili without beans, I’ve also added Eden Organic kidney beans to the recipe {and it gets a thumbs up}. 


4. Classic Sunday Pot Roast by The Stay At Home Chef

Classic Sunday Pot Roast will be the star comfort food at your next Sunday gathering! This pot roast provides hearty nourishment, and it will feed your whole family for days! I love that you can opt to make the roast in the oven, the Crock Pot or the Instant Pot, depending on your time allowance! 


5. Falling For Apples with Health Magazine

Last up is an Apple based side that is an amazing additions to both sweet and savory dishes! Enjoy it with oven roasted turkey or a rotisserie chicken! It also makes a great mason jar lunch! You will love making this dish.
Roasting apples in the oven brings out the natural sweetness of the fruit and makes your home smell so inviting! If you are in the mood to roast a combo of fall veggies, try this Roasted Apples, Cauliflower and Root Veggie side dish! Also a winner and done in under 20 minutes!
