Fall calls for sweater weather, football watching, hiking, eating more baked goods, and of course PSL’s. But when did the pumpkin flavor madness begin? Did you know that Starbucks released the famous BASIC latte earlier than ever this year? I have been known to enjoy the pumpkin spice in my morning oatmeal but I don’t need it in every product from morning until night. Some products I just don’t understand- I’m referring to Pumpkin Ravioli right now. Personally I live by a general rule when it comes to eating. Don’t eat anything your great grandmother wouldn’t recognize as food.
However, I did stumble upon some places in Austin who are doing the whole Pumpkin Craze just right!

Bufalina Pizza Enjoy this Pumpkin Custard after their Fresca Pizza :: this pizza place is rustic and the flavors are incredible.
Capital City Bakery, Of course, I couldn’t leave this Pumpkin Pie off the list!
Con Olio has Roasted Pumpkin Seed Oil is great for dipping with fresh bread
Kerbey Lane Cafe Fall menu includes Pumpkin Pancakes and Pumpkin French Toast (If you can’t decide then get both)
