It can be completely overwhelming to search online for baby registry items. Reviews after reviews, gadgets for everything, and the list goes on. Truth is, most of it you don’t need. As a mama to 3 humans, I’ve been around the block when it comes to this parenting gig and I’ve figured out a few things. If you purchase nothing else, at least make sure these items make it on your list!

Favorite Must Have Baby Registry Items

Diapers :: Okay this might go without saying that diapers need to be on your list, BUT there are so so so many diaper brands on the market and they don’t all do the trick. All Good Diapers is a new brand and they do it ALL! Hypoallergenic ✅ Absorbent ✅ Precious Designs ✅ The best part? All Good donates a day’s worth of diapers to a family in need through Feeding America with every box you buy – so buying these diapers is a decision you can feel good about!

Sound Machine :: Y’all this is like a HUGE must! Don’t worry about it having sounds of a heartbeat, the ocean, or some sweet lullaby. Just make sure it is consistent white noise. White noise machines create a comfortable, womb-like environment that calms anxious infants {and adults!!!}, encouraging them to stop crying and fall asleep faster. It works like magic!

Heart Rate/Oxygen Monitor :: I didn’t make the investment in a heart rate monitor until Baby #3 so you might be thinking “why?” I’ve read too many stories and even have a friend who lost a child due to SIDS. A heart rate monitor would have alerted the parents to a problem and given them a fighting chance to save their son. It’s simple. If you NEVER need it, it’s peace of mind. If it goes off and helps you save your child, well… that was worth it, right? The Owlet is a terrific brand!

Merlin’s Magic Sleepsuit :: Prepare to have your baby look like the Marshmallow Man. Prepare for your baby to SLEEP! For the love, we need those sweet babies to sleeeeeep and I don’t know what the science is behind the Merlin’s Magic Sleepsuit, but it is a MUST HAVE baby item.

Boppy Pillow :: From breastfeeding and sibling love to working on that head/neck control and capturing cute pictures, the Boppy is a baby item you don’t want to leave off the registry!

Jumperoo :: Whether it’s a jumperoo, exersaucer, or some other light up contraption for your child to sit it, you’ll absolutely thank me for adding this to your registry! That tiny newborn phase ends in a blink and you will likely be spending the days, washing dishes, doing laundry, taking a shower, etc. and will need a spot to entertain your little one. You can drag these things all over the house to keep a watchful eye and resume function of your 2 arms, 2 hands, and all 10 fingers!

Portable High Chair :: There are some very fancy high chairs on the market and the makers of them are very very proud. When I tell you to resist the expensive urge, remember, this is coming from a mom who successfully raised 3 humans through the baby/toddler phases of life. A portable high chair takes up far less space in the house, attaches to just about any table, and is just overall so.much.easier!!!

Blooming Bath Lotus :: Like most baby products, there are tons of options on the market. I’ve gone through several bath tubs, but this was by far my favorite that we had!

Trust me when I say, there are many many more things you “need” that are on this list, but above all else, don’t leave these must have baby items off your registry!
