This is the sixth and final post in a series intended to bring awareness and provide resources for those who experience domestic abuse and domestic violence through the personal stories of some of our Austin Moms team.
Recently, some of the Austin Moms have shared their personal domestic violence stories with you. This was a journey for our team, as we all look forward to healing and moving forward in a healthy way.
Asking for help can be scary. Sharing your story, even scarier.
The Austin Moms contributors wanted to share their stories in hopes that we can bring awareness to domestic violence and to help someone in our community and beyond.
We do not take for granted that everyone has their own story to share and know that we can all learn and grow while helping one another. This begins with sharing our stories and providing resources.
As we wrap up our mini-series on domestic violence, the Austin Moms team wanted to provide a list of resource centers. If you find yourself in need of assistance or know someone who would like direct access to information, please share this resource list.
If you find yourself in immediate danger, please contact 911.
