Hey There, I’m Kaitlyn Ovenstone a Native Austinite, wifey, and Mom to 4 (3 perfect princesses + 1 Mama’s Boy). Born in the Heart of downtown ATX, I’ve been an avid Longhorn fan my whole life. I did move away to Louisiana (Geaux Tigers) for about 10 years as a kid and for the entire 10 years begged my parents to bring us back. I graduated high school in Round Rock and then attended Austin Community College while I started my career in the insurance industry.

While my career was taking off, my dreams of having a family also became true. A first date consisting of Coffee at Mozart’s then a hike up Mount Bonnell, was a great way to win this Texan’s heart. Almost a decade later we’ve gone on countless trips, had our dream wedding, birthed 4 amazing kids (ages 5 months to 8 years), suffered heartbreak from 2 miscarriages, the gut wrenching pain of losing a parent, and have juggled everything else parents have on their plates. I believe we all go through things and we all have a story. Even through our biggest trials and tribulations we can inspire others. I also firmly believe faith CAN get you through anything.
Since I was a child I’ve had a passion for teaching and have worked with kids my whole life ranging from daycares to leading various youth groups, coaching Cheer squads and have since turned that passion into protecting families and educating them on what’s available to cover everything they’ve worked hard to build. I also help teach other insurance professionals. Since becoming a Mom I’ve worked with my kiddos on my hip- Doing my time long before the C-Word made it a thing.. I’ve learned the ins and outs, do’s and don’ts for working with children.
I enjoy exploring our rapidly growing city and sharing all of the cool fam-friendly places we stumble upon. Like most Moms, I enjoy Target Trips, a good boutique, survive the chaos and sleepless nights with Starbucks, love running trails and adventuring to new parks with my littles. I enjoy a good motivational podcast, and in my very rare free time I love to kick back and enjoy what my hubby calls “mindless tv” aka your basic girl, reality tv shows- ranging from the Bachelor, The Real Housewives, Grey’s Anatomy…you know, the good stuff.
I am truly honored to be a part of such a strong, inspirational team of women and hope I can use my story and trials to help others. I look forward to growing together and making genuine connections with other Mama’s regardless of what chapter in life they are on— because what they say is true, it really does take a tribe. Cheers to building ours together!
