5 Must-Sip Coffee Shops in Round Rock and Georgetown

I love, Love, LOVE me some coffee! I love it even more during this time of year. Coffee shops are definitely my thing; over the years, I’ve discovered some wonderful places. Each provides a unique experience that I can’t find in the other. A few of these have even grown on my kiddo, and we’ve started having breakfast dates. We’ve kinda made it a Saturday morning thing, and I love that for us! She’s six, so no coffee for her, but there are other non-caffeinated drinks, some snacks, or even a few kid-friendly spaces.

As moms, I know we also enjoy and need our me time. There is nothing like spending a few hours in your favorite coffee spot with your favorite drink, reading a really good book, or even just people-watching. If you’re a writer like me, I’ve gotten some of my best work done hunched over in a corner with a Latte.

Here are a few of my fave coffee shops in Round Rock and Georgetown for all my North Austin mamas or mamas who will travel anywhere for great coffee

1. Just Love Coffee Cafe (Georgetown) – I’ve loved this place since it opened in Wolf Ranch. They’ve got some yummy seasonal drinks and the best Nutella Waffles. This place is perfect for a solo coffee date, brunch with the girls, a Bible Study meet-up, or a work session. It’s also a great kid environment. Just Love has been deemed my daughter’s “favorite coffee spot.” She enjoys the menu, the giant chalkboard, and the games available. Oh, and the staff is SUPER friendly!
2. Lamppost Coffee (Georgetown & Round Rock) – I’ve spent hours enjoying the quiet calm atmosphere in this cute little space on the square in Georgetown. The baristas are always so sweet. And honey, I didn’t realize I love Matcha until I had it here! They are dog/family-friendly and offer vegan and gluten-free snack options. On Sundays, you can occasionally catch some live music in the afternoon.
3. Dazzle (RR)- This is an adorable drive-through with a phenomenal team! The coffee is always amazing and is a bit more cost-efficient than in some other places. Dazzle is a great place to go if you need morning coffee and breakfast before starting your day on the go. I’ve stopped by plenty of mornings, and the beautiful smiles I’m always greeted with have been such a lovely way to get my day going.
4. Alamo Coffee Company (RR) – If you love supporting local businesses, this one’s especially for you. The core of this company is Texas, and so is the coffee! If you discover a roast you love, you can purchase a bag to take home with you. It’s fairly new to Round Rock, but I think it will easily make your favorites list.
5. Black Rock Coffee Bar (Round Rock) – These guys are fun, and so are the drinks! They have various drink options, and I’m sure you’re bound to discover which one is your favorite. I think this location is fitting for a coffee date with friends.

What I wish we had is a Luke’s (Gilmore Girls). They always made the coffee look so good in every episode. I’m also just as addicted to coffee as the main characters! But, seriously, there is no shortage of great places to enjoy coffee and the atmosphere around here. I hope you find a place and fall in love with it.
