Austin Symphony’s Halloween Children’s Concert at The Long Center- is October 23 at 3pm-Tickets Required. It’s creepy, crawly and so much fun it’s spooky! Your little ghost or goblin will help haunt Long Center’s Dell Hall for Austin Symphony Orchestra’s annual Halloween Children’s Concert.  This exciting concert features frightfully fun symphonic music that is stimulating for young eyes and ears (ages 2-10). The entire family is invited to dress up in their favorite costume and enjoy “boo-tiful” music with their Austin Symphony Orchestra!

Boo at the Zoo- Austin Zoo- Friday and Saturdays through Halloween-Tickets Required-Includes Boo at the Zoo event entry for one person, unlimited visits through the Haunted House (as the line allows), and one seat for a RESERVED TRAIN RIDE. Children under 2 are free and must ride the train in an adult’s lap. If you prefer that your Under-2 have their own seat on the train, then please purchase an additional event ticket for them. Boo tickets for “General Admission” do not include a train ride.

Pumpkin Nights-Pioneer Farms-Tickets Required- This can’t miss Halloween event will take you along a half-mile walking path, where you’ll discover the Forbidden City, a Pirate’s Cove, and more fantastical lands built using over 5,000 hand-carved real and artificial pumpkins. The celebration continues with entertainment and games in The Village, our festival area with treats, fire dancers, live carving demonstrations and more!

Halloween Art and Yoga Party-JWSD Dance Arts-October 27+28-10-12-Come have a spooky fun time with yoga and process art stations. This 2 hour event will start with family Halloween themed yoga. Afterwards families can explore process art stations including slime, costume making, pumpkin art and more! Take home your own slime and costume element (superhero mask, magic wand, or crown)

Play for Fall Fundraising Event-Round Rock-October 28-6:30- Tickets Required-Goblins and Ghouls from all around get to trick or treat and bounce around. In a park that is transformed into a magical Halloween land, there is something for everyone because it is so grand. From Trick or Treating to games and spooks, this is an event for all ages that will go down in the Halloween books! This event will take place on Friday, October 28th at the Play for All Park, located at 151 North A.W. Grimes Blvd. Session 1 will be 6:30 – 8:00 pm and Session 2 will be 8:30 – 10:00 pm. To ensure the safety and enjoyment of all inside the park, a limited number of tickets will be sold for each session.  Each session will be the same and the park will be cleared at 8:00 pm to prepare for the second session. Those with special needs and their families will be able to enter the park beginning at 6:00pm for Session 1 (Special Needs Advance Ticket required).

Boo and Brew-The Arboretum-October 29-4-6-Free-The registration tent (where 21+ can grab their free tasting wristband) will be located next to Amy’s Ice Cream. Candy Crawl-Trick or Treat at our Arboretum retailers, DJ, live music by Matt Creaton, face painting, balloon art, alcohol samplings, vendor booths, Swag Bags, raffles and more!

Dripping Springs Pumpkin Festival-Dr. Pound Historical Farmstead- Community Monday-October 24-. Bring out the family and experience a full day of unlimited fun with over 50 fall-inspired games, activities, and attractions. Enjoy live music presented by 100.1 Sun Radio, a courtyard marketplace featuring family-friendly products, and an incredible selection of seasonal foods and beverages for both children and adults. You’ll also find an abundance of photo opportunities, so don’t forget your cameras.

Halloween Carnival-Neill-Cochran House Museum-October 30-11-3p- Grab your costume or wear your favorite comfy autumn clothes, and head over to the Neill-Cochran House Museum this Halloween afternoon. Kids can enjoy, modern versions of traditional crafts and games, scavenger hunts, trunk-or-treating, and a bouncy house! This event is free! Reservations are not required. Drop in anytime to join the fun. The Neill-Cochran House Museum will be open for tours and children under 12 are always free. Free parking is available behind the Museum.
