Blue Genie Art Bazaar Market | ALL WEEKEND| 10– 8
The May Market wraps up this weekend. Like the holiday Bazaar, the May Market is a free, family-friendly experience showcasing the work of 100+ regional artists and artisans under one roof. Shop for one-of-a-kind gifts for Father’s Day, graduations, anniversaries, weddings and more!
Texas Military Force Museum Memorial Day Program | Saturday and Sunday| 11 + 2pm
Close Assault program this spring will honor our nation’s Vietnam Veterans… many of whom joined the Guard after their regular Army service.
Remember the true meaning of Memorial Day with this back at the Vietnam War. Close Assault 1968 honors the service and sacrifice of America’s veterans. The free program features members of the Texas Military Forces Living History Detachment exhibiting the uniform and equipment worn by the American soldiers. In addition, the two-day event will provide guests the opportunity to witness firing demonstrations and watch an assault on a bunker with an M113.
The event will take place RAIN or SHINE. Bleacher seating is available. Showtimes are at 11 am and 2 pm on Saturday and 1:30 pm on Sunday. The program runs for about 1.5 hours. The museum will be open 10-4 each day. Both the program and admission to the museum are FREE.

Texas Bad Cats live! There’s no admission charge, so bring lawn chairs, pfurry friends, blankets, picnic baskets, friends and neighbors for a free evening of music, entertainment and relaxation. Alcohol is allowed, but please do not bring glass containers.

Memorial Day Ceremony | Monday May 29| 10:00 am | Yonders Point
The Round Rock Veteran’s Coalition and City of Round Rock invite the entire community to honor and remember those who sacrificed all for our country at a Memorial Day Ceremony taking place at the new Yonders Point Plaza.
Yonders Point is located on the north side of Old Settlers Park at 3101 Aten Loop.
The Memorial Day Ceremony will begin at 10:00am. The ceremony will include Major General Retired Patrick Hamilton of the U.S. Army as our guest speaker, the City of Round Rock Police Department Honor Guard and Fire Department’s Pipe and Drums. Our Nation’s Colors will be displayed by the Stony Point Highschool’s JR ROTC, while vocal artist Michaela Watson sings our National Anthem and Combat Veteran Corpsman Shannon Book singing God Bless America. Stony Point JR ROTC will also provide a TAPS Bugler and a live 21 Gun Salute to honor all those who have paid the ultimate price for our Nation. Immediately following the ceremony please join us for light refreshments.

Hays County Veterans Memorial |Monday, May 29th | 10:00 am
The annual Memorial Day Ceremony will take place on Monday, May 29, 2023 at 10am at the Hays County Veterans Memorial.
Veterans and community members will recite the names of all Hays County Veterans who were Killed in Action since WWI. This year marks the 20th Anniversary of the dedication of the Hays County Veterans Memorial. Local Veteran organizations, the San Marcos High School Air Force ROTC, and the Aquarena Symphonic Band will be participating in the ceremony.
Limited parking is available on Riverside Drive and Peace Avenue. Additional parking is available at the San Marcos Activity Center. In the event of inclement weather, the ceremony will be held at the San Marcos Activity Center.
