It’s time to celebrate the return of Venardos Circus (veh-NARR-dos), a Broadway-style animal-free circus, coming to Buda, TX. The show will be held at Buck’s Backyard, 1750 Farm to Market 1626, Buda, TX with its 10th Anniversary edition from March 7 – March 17, 2024. This year the awe-inspiring Venardos Circus cast will celebrate a Decade of Dreams under the big top with a magical, exhilarating, and all-new experience for guests. The show will feature music from Venardos Circus Tours throughout the years but with fresh acts and a reimagined showcase. The 2024 Venardos Circus is traveling with a new custom-crafted, Italian-made red-and-white striped tent that offers expansive seating for an immersive experience and higher views where artists fly high.

Sharks Exhibition | 10-5 | Bullock Texas State History Museum

Come face to face with Sharks, the ocean’s most magnificent and misunderstood species.

Sharks brings to life the incredible diversity of sharks with dozens of life-sized models, ranging from 33 feet to 5 inches long, and offers visitors a unique look at prehistoric and modern species, their habitats and hunting styles, and the conservation threats these spectacular animals face today.

Sharks is organized by the American Museum of Natural History, New York. The Museum gratefully acknowledges Warner Bros. Discovery for its generous support of Sharks. A selection of footage in Sharks has been provided by Discovery’s Shark Week.

The Bullock Museum, a division of the Texas State Preservation Board, is funded by Museum members, donors, and patrons, the Texas State History Museum Foundation, and the State of Texas.

Dino Days will activate the Hartman Prehistoric Garden, transforming it into a vibrant showcase of botanical wonders from the Cretaceous Period. It will captivate visitors, offering an educational journey through the geological history of Austin and highlighting prehistoric plants as they spring to life. Through dynamic exhibits and interactive activities, Dino Days celebrates plant diversity and evolution while fostering community engagement through volunteer opportunities. Join us for the kickoff or celebrate the closing party with a dinosaur parade–better yet, get Cretaceous every Saturday!

St. Patrick’s Day Bagpipe Concert in the Park | 7pm | held at Katherine Fleischer Park This event brings together talented bagpipers who fill the air with traditional Irish tunes. It’s a unique and enjoyable experience that truly captures the spirit of St. Patrick’s Day. The event starts at 7pm.

Mozart’s Coffee and the Irish Dance Center presents: St. Patrick’s Day Family Festival a FREE fun-filled day of St. Patrick’s Day activities for the whole family! There will be Irish Dance performances from the Irish Dance Center, face painting, music, dancing, special café and drink menu items, and more!

Pioneer farms – Experience an amazing celebration of Saint Patrick’s Day in Austin, TX with our St. Patrick’s Day Austin event here at Jourdan-Bachman Pioneer Farms! Enjoy Live music, Games, Irish vibe, Great food and more! This event runs from 12-6pm.

Luck of the Irish Event-Hill Country Galleria-Join us on St. Patrick’s Day for our free family event – you can expect live music from the O’Malarkey band, a dance lesson from InishFree School of Irish Dance Austin, treasure for the kids from a leprechaun, and special promotions from our local restaurants (check back next week for a full list).
