Jeni’s Splendid Ice Creams

With four locations from SoCo to the Domain, Jeni’s Splendid Ice Creams does live up to its name. We love the Wedding Cake, Bramble Berry Crisp and of course the classic Texas Sheet Cake. They offer an array of seasonal flavors, like Pumpkin Cake Roll (yum) with something for everyone in the family! Come and taste their unique recipe honed and perfected for more than 20 years.

Amy’s Ice Cream

An Austin classic since 1984! With over 350 flavors and 13 locations in Austin alone, Amy’s is here to satisfy your craving. They offer fun flavors like Deep Eddy’s Dip with sweet cream ice cream made with deep eddy’s rosemary vodka. They also have delicious dipped waffle cones. Amy’s is a must have for any Austinite or visitor!

Gelateria Gemelli’s

A must visit for the gelato lovers! This gelateria on East 6th was dreamed up by Andy Sabola, after learning how to make authentic gelato in Italy. Their gelato is made by hand in small batches daily, with mature flavors like Miso Vanilla, Earl Grey and Peach Bourbon. Their waffle cone is thin and pairs together so well, the perfect cone to ice cream ratio. This is an up-leveled ice cream cone experience! Come for the gelato, and stay for the coffee and cocktails.

Lick Honest Ice Creams

Seasonal ice cream at its best! Lick Honest Ice Creams are proudly made with ingredients from our local Austin farmers. They’re passionate about creating unique ice cream flavors with high quality ingredients using what’s available season to season, like the Goat Cheese, Thyme and Honey and Peach Cheesecake. Catch them at one of their three locations, including South Lamar and Burnet Road. This is a fun spot to come with the whole family for an after dinner treat.

Dolce Neve

This Italian family owned and operated gelateria is full of European treats. Their gelato is made from scratch by a professionally trained gelato maker. They have a mix of staples, rotating and seasonal flavors, like the Crema Dolce Neve (custard with lemon zest), Stracciatella and Mascarpone and Fig. They also source their ingredients from local farmers and artisans, and offer an array of frozen desserts, but their gelato cone is by far my favorite.

Dip Dip Dip Ice Cream

This Japanese inspired creamery has created an ice cream cone like you’ve never experienced before! Each cone is a masterpiece of decadence. We had the Barney Poo, with Japanese purple sweet potato ice cream, and the Miso PB&J. The waffle cones are thick and dipped in a variety of deliciousness, like the crunchy peanut butter or the matcha dipped cone. This is the perfect place to come when you’re feeling “extra” and want an ice cream cone to match!
