Mozart’s Light Show, on Lake Austin, is a true pastime for Austinites. My family and I have gone yearly for over a decade, as it is a MUST, for the holiday season.

The Mozart’s annual light display has gone on for 14 years. It has grown into a huge family and community event. As such, tickets, whether for free general admission or having a dedicated seat, should be pre-purchased in hopes of getting one. Seats can also be purchased on site, but check ahead because some times may already be sold out. Mozart’s light show is happening nightly now through January 6.

Although the holiday light show attracts many patrons, Mozart’s Coffee Roasters has been an Austin staple for the past 40 years. So, while you are there enjoy a cup of coffee, bottomless cocoa, sweet treats and more. AND, as a BONUS, this year Mozarts also is hosting the local ATX Corn Dog company!

Other fun items added to the Mozart’s experience this year are: a silent disco, photo zone, Bavarian market, nautical lights, and a Taylor Swift Dance floor. For all you Swifties out there, this is a REAL part of her stage that is on loan to Mozarts! Plan to get there early and ‘shake it off’.

So grab your friends, family, or both and head out for a night to get you into the holiday mood.
