Is it just me, or does it seem like the moment the ball dropped, the world started plastering red and pink hearts everywhere? So, since that’s the season we are in, let’s talk romance–specifically Romantic Date Ideas in Austin!

I’ll admit, I’m a single girlie who JUST started dipping my toes in the dating pool. It’s been interesting, to say the least, but it has encouraged me to explore creative ways to create romantic date nights.

- Did that scene in Ghost (yeah, you know that one) ever make you want to try pottery? Check out Pottery Parlor. Create your own pottery and take it home to remember the special moment. It’s also an excellent location for a ladies night or a fun time with your kids.
- Soupleaf Hot Pot is a new hot pot restaurant perfect for a beautiful meal that’s a little outside the norm – food, but make it fun!
- Are you in the mood for drinks and laughter? Cap City Comedy is a great location for that. It’s located in The Domain. Grab some dinner at Blue Sushi Sake Grill, or whatever your Domain go-to is, stroll through the Domain, and then get your laugh on!
- One of my favorites, for the view, is date night at The Oasis. Enjoy your dinner or a glass of wine, and watch the sunset! It is gorgeous. If you’re a busy couple who finds it challenging to slow down and breathe, this is a peaceful moment to enjoy.
- For all the homebodies – this one’s for you! Order a charcuterie board from Lux Boards, set up a picnic on the living room floor or any part of your home, and enjoy the first movie you ever saw together. Enjoy all the feels!
