As an active momma with 2 under 4, finding a gym with childcare in Austin has been top of mind for me the past couple of years. Between wanting to keep an ounce of my identity before baby and the guilt and logistics of leaving the baby for long stretches of time- finding a gym with child watch is (IMO) a MUST for a new mom.

With that being said, finding a gym with childcare can be a bit overwhelming – so I’ve done the hard work for ya! Below is a list of greater Austin area gyms where you can not only model prioritizing your health to your littles, but build a community of like minded moms (and dads!).

Group Fitness Classes

Burn Bootcamp (locations in Round Rock, Cedar Park, New Braunfels, Georgetown) – 45 minute strength and conditioning classes that offers complimentary child watch from 8:30am – 6:30pm for babies 8 weeks to 12 years.

Blush Bootcamp (Leander) – This women only gym offers group fitness classes with high interval training and a kids club included in your membership.

Crunch Fitness (locations in Cedar Park, Round Rock, South Austin, San Marcos) – Crunch offers personal training, open gym, and pretty much any class imaginable (yoga, Pilates, strength, cardio, etc!). Not every location offers babysitting services, so be sure to contact your local crunch to find their childcare offerings.

Barre3- Most of their studios offer childcare, and instructors are trained on helping new moms adapt for a safe and healthy workout.

HIT Athletic – This gym offers classes from kickboxing to strength training and everything in between. They have childcare for ages 6 months – 12 years for $30 a month, while also offering youth classes so your kids can train at the same time you do!

Life Time Fitness (locations – North, Central and South Austin) – a luxury gym that has a child center for ages 3 months to 11 years. Life Time Kids also offers birthday parties, camps, Parents’ Night Out, and more.

YMCA – if you are looking for a more budget friendly option, look no further than your local YMCA. Their child watch services are free for members, but hours and ages vary depending on location. Twin Lakes Cedar Park has a dreamy location on the lake and wonderful amenities for parents and children alike!

JCC Austin – Babysitting services are available to JCC members while using the Sports & Fitness Facility. The Kids Club is open to children aged 3 months to 8 years and costs $10 per hour with a two-hour max.

Fitness Connection– With 2 locations in the Austin area, Fitness Connection has a large open gym and boutique like classes. Their facilities offer childcare for kids between the ages of 3 and 11.

HCI Sports & Fitness (Bee Caves) – HCI offers group classes, a fitness center and a number of courts. They have a clubhouse for children between the ages of 9 months – 4 years old where kids can enjoy baby and toddler friendly activities and games. Their cube space is for kids ages 5 – 10 years old who are active members on a membership. In the cube, kids can enjoy play and learning activities as well as climb and explore their large indoor playscape.

Workout with your Kids

Fit4Mom – From stroller strides, barre classes, and strength training, they offer classes for every fitness level. The best part – the majority of their classes incorporate your baby in the workout!

Austin Mom Walks – build your tribe and go on a hot girl walk with Austin Mom Walks. Just like running is the new Tinder, this group is like the new Peanut app.

Family Yoga Classes (checkout our Yoga with kids blog to find a class) – I love doing yoga with my daughters. Being able to model movement, connection, and breathe work truly lights me up and thankfully Austin has ton of great options around this beautiful city.
