Happy Father’s Day! Let’s hear it for all the dads, stepdads, bonus dads, granddads, and all the dudes acting as great role models for our children. If you haven’t quite hammered out your plans yet, we have you covered! Celebrate Father’s Day in Austin this Sunday with these fun events.

FATHER’S DAY FAMILY POOL DAY | 12-6pm | Fairmont Austin

Celebrate Father’s Day at Fairmont Austin and honor Dad with activities we know he’ll love! Dive into summer with a family-friendly pool day, plus a Dad’s Lounge on our rooftop terrace. Select from two experience options below.

Dad’s Lounge tickets (Ages 21+ only) include pool day pass, plus exclusive access to the Dad’s Lounge on our rooftop terrace including the following:
– Fumar Cigar rolling
– Grill station featuring Tomahawk steaks & more
– Beam Suntory Bourbon tastings

Pool Day Pass tickets include access to our rooftop pool and food and beverage for purchase. This experience is perfect for mom and the kids.

Big Tex Father’s Day Party at TLC Austin | 11am-10pm | TLC Austin

Father’s Day with Thinkery | 11-2pm | Meanwhile Brewing

This Father’s Day, celebrate with crafts and activities with Thinkery! The local children’s museum will be onsite at Meanwhile from 11-2pm.

While this event is all ages, kids aged 10 and under will probably enjoy the activities best. There will be Patch Felting, open play at the Imagination Playground, and Ramp Racing!

Our playground will of course be available, and we’re pouring cold drinks (for kids and parents!) in our taproom. Pueblo Viejo is serving breakfast, and all of our trucks will be open for lunch.

This event is free to attend. An RSVP does not guarantee availability of craft supplies (though we always do our best to have enough for everyone!). We always recommend arriving early and finding tables.

Brass Quintet Concert | 7:30 pm | Long Center City Terrace

Come beat the heat with your Austin Symphony Orchestra (ASO) as they begin their annual Hartman Foundation Concerts in the Park in the spring! All ages, including pets, enjoy relaxing Sunday evenings with different musical ensembles presented by the ASO.

In its 22nd season, these FREE ensemble concerts take place at the Hartman Concert Lawn on the 3D-Printed Stage and run on Sunday evenings. Thanks to a generous gift from the Hartman Family Foundation, these informal concerts for the Austin community continue to be funded each season, allowing Austinites to become acquainted or reacquainted with the classical music experience. Performing music ranging from jazz and light classical to pops selections and film scores, concertgoers are encouraged to bring a picnic dinner and blanket to make it a group outing.

Father’s Day Concert in the Park | 7:30pm | Zilker Hillside Theater

Austin Symphonic Band celebrates Dad with this annual concert at the Zilker Hillside Theatre. The band will perform a selection of patriotic melodies and family favorites including works by Frank Sinatra, John Philip Sousa, George Gershwin and Andrew Lloyd Weber.  Audience members are encouraged to picnic and spread a blanket under the pecan trees at the Zilker Hillside Theatre to celebrate Dad this Father’s Day!

Father’s Day at Jester King | All Day | Jester King

Join us for Father’s Day at Jester King to enjoy some classic cars and beer with 12 King Classic Car Club! This is an entirely free event and open to all ages!

We will be having a book trailer pop up by Lioness Book Trailer to get your dad some much needed new reading material!

Jester King Kitchen will be whipping up a delicious mesquite pulled pork sandwich with ancho chile bbq sauce, jalapeno lime slaw, pickled fresno chilies $12

We will be open for normal business hours from 11:00 – 8:00 pm with the Classic Cars hanging out from 1:00 – 3:00 pm
