I’m so grateful to live in a city with an abundance of kid friendly breweries around the corner! There truly is nothing better than enjoying a cold one with friends while your kids roam free (equally having a great time!). With that said, it can be pretty difficult to keep up with the endless options of kid friendly breweries that continue to pop up around the city – so I’ve done some research for you and rounded up some of the NEWEST kid friendly breweries in ATX that have recently popped up (some of which I’m definitely due to try myself).

Fast Friends Beer Co, 7313 N Interstate 35 Frontage Rd NB, Austin, TX 78744

Located in South Austin, this charming brewery has an inviting outdoor space where kids can enjoy their new playground, and game nights/events. The brewery also features a kid-friendly menu with tasty snacks and a selection of non-alcoholic bevs.

Austin Beerworks Sprinkle Valley, 10300 Springdale Rd, Austin

This new Austin Beerworks location was recently opened – and definitely has not disappointed. Trust me, your kids will love this brewery! As their website says Sprinkle Valley has a “pretty rad kids’ playground,” a huge disc golf course, toys and a “family room” where kids can watch kids tv shows and play games all inside with AC. In addition to a plethora of craft beer options, Austin Beerworks also offers some frozen drinks, non alcoholic drinks, and a rotating selection of food trucks for all to enjoy! 

Slackers Brewing Co, 12233 Ranch Rd 620 N #204, Austin

This little North Austin brewery has an indoor space for kids to roam free, play games, and read books! This space is perfect for my girls (3 and 8 months). Having an indoor play area is absolutely KEY when you have little little ones, so I’ll definitely be checking this brewery out ASAP. 

Lazarus Brewing Co (North Loop), 4803 Airport Blvd, Austin 

Lazarus Brewing’s (North Loop) has quickly become a fam favorite since it opened. They have a huge turquoise pirate ship playscape, and little animals to ride. In addition to some beer, grab a coffee and some of their iconic tex mex (our family go to is their quesadillas).

Nomadic Beerworks  3804 Woodbury Dr Suite A, Austin, TX 78704

This vibrant spot offers a diverse menu of crafts, while also offering plenty of non-alcoholic options like sodas and juices for the kiddos! The brewery features a rotating selection of food, so there’s always something tasty for everyone. Your fam will definitely appreciate the spacious outdoor area where the kids can roam free and engage in some of the activities hosted by the brewery. 

Obsidian Brewery 11880 Hero Way W Suite 208, Leander, TX 78641

Although we were sad to see Humble Pint close its doors last year, it was thankfully replaced by Obsidian Brewery. With a number of great cocktails, food and craft beer, you’ll surely have something for all adults and kids alike. Although there is no dedicated playground at this location, my fam finds this brewery quite kid friendly with the loads of space and games it has to offer. 

Whitestone Brewery (Cedar Park location) – 401 E Whitestone Blvd Suite A-108, Cedar Park, TX 78613

Whitestone Brewery in Cedar Park recently moved locations to the old Lucy’s Fried Chicken. This new location has a tiny playscape area for kids, while also partnering with 600 Degree Pizza to offer a delicious assortment of pizza and wings!!!

Meanwhile Brewing, 3901 Promontory Point Dr, Austin

Nestled in East Austin, Meanwhile has a ton to offer for the littles and is definitely an Austin staple for families. Meanwhile has a natural-style treehouse, slide, balance beam, jungle gym playground, and plenty of shade! In addition to a great space, and a variety of lawn games – Meanwhile also has delicious food truck options so you don’t have to worry about anyone getting hungry. 

For those of you new to the Austin Brewery scene, below are some other great kid friendly establishments that have been around for years, but never get old!
