As a mom, trying to make the holidays magical for my kids can be overwhelming. And expensive. We have so many options for holiday events and activities here in Austin, but sometimes that adds to the pressure to do ALL the things in order to create a memorable holiday season.

It’s always a struggle during the holidays to remind myself that my kids don’t actually need to do ALL the things for it to feel special. One of our favorite traditions is just driving around in our car with hot chocolate looking at lights in different neighborhoods—totally free, simple, and magical.
