The Magellan International School is an authorized International Baccalaureate (IB) school offering the Primary Years Programme (PYP) for grades kindergarten through fifth. The IB PYP programme is learner-centered and inquiry-based. Teaching begins with and builds on the curiosity of the students, their capacity to understand the material and ideas, and the questions they have.
Primary School at Magellan is a Spanish immersion program that introduces Mandarin instruction in 3rd grade.
At Magellan, we believe in deep as well as broad educational experiences for our students. Our Primary Students are provided with regular instruction in art, music, physical education, and library. School-wide service projects and ongoing cultural, global and sustainability enrichment programs take place both inside and outside the classroom.
Wee Wisdom Preschool offers a unique curriculum which honors the different learning styles of all children by incorporating art, music, yoga, nature, language, math and sciences into our lessons. The school hours are M-Th 8-2 and closed on Fridays.
Preschoolers will learn by using both Montessori and traditional materials, which allow for many creative, manipulative and practical life opportunities. We know that plenty of movement and play activities are essential to a balanced learning experience. Little explorers will enjoy our spacious, natural surroundings and large playground.

Ever Scouts is anchored around values and skills we call the 12 Keys, designed to teach personal and social responsibility. During the 10 week virtual session, Scouts will enter the EverVerse, a virtual experience helping kids navigate our virtual world and their real one too. In our app, Scouts will embark on a journey, using an interactive map, that takes them through weekly worlds with different themes (Knight Scout World, Olympic Scout World) until they make it to the final planet–Quest World. Each week they’ll join their Hangout to go on a mission with fellow Scouts and their Guide that ties into that week’s key.
Parents are a part of the Eververse journey too. Each week, they’ll get texts from their Guide:
- On Sundays: An overview of what your Scout is learning that week, and why
- On Hangout days: A reminder of the Troop’s hangout time
