Amplify LIVE – I Live Here I Give Here

Amplify LIVE is a benefit concert supporting the work of I Live Here I Give Here, the organization that is on a mission to amplify giving across Central Texas. Through programs like Amplify LIVE and Amplify Austin Day, I Live Here I Give Here connects community members to organizations and issues that they care about. Since 2007, the Central Texas nonprofit community has received almost $119 million dollars in donations and has connected with more than 200,000 people as a result of I Live Here I Give Here’s programs.
The concert, presented by C3 Presents and will be headlined by Jackie Venson, with performances by Tameca Jones, Mélat. Jackie is a multi-instrumentalist, singer/songwriter known far and wide for her complexly beautiful music and blazing guitar skills. Born and raised in Austin, Texas, Jackie has traveled the world playing to massive crowds both as a headliner and as support for major acts such as Gary Clark Jr, Melissa Etheridge, Aloe Blacc, Citizen Cope to name a few.
The evening will be emceed by Laurie Gallardo of KUTX 98.9. In her two decades as a host on Central Texas airwaves, Gallardo has received the Austin Music Award for Best Radio Personality seven times running and was recently inducted into the Austin Music Hall of Fame—apt accolades for a voice synonymous with music in the capital city.
