Baby Development Play Class – Play & Coo

Join our baby play classes and build your community by learning and playing alongside other parents and babies in our inclusive group setting. Come with questions about your baby’s development. You have access to a pediatric physical therapist and speech-language pathologist at each class who will answer your questions in a judgment-free zone. Learn how to enrich your baby’s playtime with age-based and developmentally-based activities to set up a strong developmental foundation in the first year of life. You will receive guides with our favorite play activities, toy suggestions, and equipment recommendations to best support healthy development.
This class is for babies ~0-6 months old.
Here’s what you can expect to learn:
1. Practice how to play with your baby during wake windows with no-cry tummy time, rolling, reaching, and purposeful play
2. Screen for head turn preference/torticollis and learn how to prevent head flattening
3. Learn all about how to respond to initial coos and setting a communication and social-emotional foundation
