Join us as we pay attention to our thoughts and feelings without judgment! Embrace the art of mindfulness, mediation, and mandalas for our May session of Date Night @DAC: Mandala Mindset on Wednesday, May 18, from 7-9pm! Learn how to get started making your own mandalas at our free event and discover the benefits of mindfulness.
The evening will begin with a group meditation at 7:10pm. Then at 7:30, we’ll be pulling out the art supplies and learning about mandalas and meditative art. Come for the whole event or stop by when you can; we’ll be having art demos at 7:30 and 8:00 so everyone can take a turn.
Making mandalas can help create mindfulness through art-centered meditation. Even when done free-hand and without attention to measurements, this type of artistic meditation can promote intense focus, stillness, and presence in the moment. We can’t wait to see you there!
