De-Sign Day 2023

Do you wince thinking about where political signs go after an election? What if instead of sending those signs to the landfill, they became raw building material? With simple hand tools, pliers, and wire cutters, Coloplast signs can be used by anyone to build and invent things! A folding LEGO table? A boat? An earring display stand? This is a hands-on build night where everyone can make something cool.

How it works:
Students, teachers, families, and community members will build useful things for discarded campaign signs. You bring your ideas and any tools that may come in handy. We will share what students at ACE Academy have built in the last few months, and inspire your own creations!
All ages and experience levels welcome.
