West Chelsea Contemporary Presents: JM Rizzi

Dallas-based contemporary artist, JM Rizzi will be making his Austin debut at West Chelsea Contemporary’s downtown gallery on Saturday, May 27 from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. for an exclusive artist talk. A gestural expressionist since he started writing graffiti as a teenager in 1990s New York City, Rizzi has painted murals from Rockefeller Center to Boras, Sweden and Shenzen, China. Rizzi’s murals and paintings are exchanges between sight and sound, encapsulating inspirations like jazz music, Motherwell, Wu-Tang Clan and Texas sunsets.
