2024 Lunar New Year Festival at The Paper + Craft Pantry

Join us for the third annual Lunar New Year Festival co-hosted by The Paper + Craft Pantry and kathyphantastic in East Austin! This year we will be celebrating the Year of the Dragon!
We will be celebrating with this family-friendly event featuring over 30+ vendors of Asian descent, 3 lion + dragon dance performances, kid-story time, face painting and so much more fun!
Highlights:
Celebrate the Year of the Dragon with the East Austin community
Shop + support Asian owned small businesses from across Texas at our vendor pop up market
Lion + dragon dance performances
Book reading by Multicultural Alphabet Books and Spark Collection (BYOB – bring your own blanket! This is taking place outside so bring your own blanket or chair for your little one. *A parent or grown up needs to accompany each child!
Food from Peached Tortilla, SXSE, Otoshi, Cookie Wookie Kitchen, and Pippa’s Home Bakery, drinks from ShareTea Austin and Greater Goods Coffee Roasters, soap-making station, face painting, origami demos and so much more!

VIP Badge | Allowed entry 1 hour before event time (at 10am). Get early access to vendors as well as a Lunar New Year Festival goody bag valued at $50+.
VIP Ticket revenue will support the financial responsibilities associated with hosting this cultural community event and enable us to keep hosting this important event in town for years to come!

11am-5pm | Come and go at your leisure!
General Admission is donation based – suggested donation $10-$25 per person. This allows us to offset the financial responsibilities associated with hosting this cultural community event and keep this important celebration around for years to come!
