BLUEM 2024

This year LCRA Parks is hosting BLUEM 2024 at Muleshoe Bend Recreation Area , its first event dedicated to celebrating the state flower on Saturday, March 23, 2024 from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Attendees can indulge in delicious Rudy’s BBQ and sweet treats by Dolce Bacio Gelato as they bask in the beauty of the surrounding bluebonnets. Other local vendors on site will be providing fashionable accessories such as permanent bracelets and flower crowns.
Wildflower fanatics can enjoy jumbo games, arts and craft activities and a wildflower-themed scavenger hunt around the park. Other activities around the park will include rock climbing, a bungee trampoline and slide, archery, face painting, a guided hike and a petting zoo, and true adventurers will delight in axe throwing, a UTV tour of the park, electric mountain bike rides and kayak rentals.
