November 13th, 6am
The annual Reimer’s Salmagundi Trail Race takes place at Reimer’s Ranch nestled on the Pedernales River in the Texas Hill Country. Choose your challenge of 5k fun run, 10k, half-marathon, full marathon, or the 50k! With the beautiful overlooks of the Pedernales River, this route is all trail. With a Salmugundi of double track, single track, and jeep trail this race is great for your first trail run or fastest trail run! With friendly volunteers, live bluegrass music, Austin trailer food trucks, and local brew on hand, this will be a race experience you won’t forget!
November 25th, 9am
This is a Family Fun event close to your home and the right distance for you and your family to come out have a great time and make it home in time for Turkey. The 5K course has some moderate hills and some flat portions. The Shake A Leg Mile and Kids Mile takes place inside the stadium Loop Road and is free of vehicles coming and going. The major intersections are handled by Cedar Park Police and you have a full lane all the way around the course.

Austin. It’s time for the 31st Annual ThunderCloud Subs Turkey Trot – A Live (and virtual) Event.
The ThunderCloud Subs Turkey Trot, one of Austin’s most beloved Thanksgiving traditions, started in 1991 with just a handful of volunteers and 600 participants. Today it has grown to be the largest 5-mile run in Texas, with more than 700 volunteers and over 20,000 participants from all over the U.S. and beyond. Last year during the Covid shutdown, nearly 7,000 participated in our first-ever virtual event!
Not only is it a great way for families to have fun together on Thanksgiving, but it’s also an event that you can really feel good about being a part of–100% of all proceeds go directly to Caritas of Austin, a non-profit that works to prevent and end homelessness in the Austin community. To date, the Turkey Trot has raised more than $4.2 million for Caritas.
Join us at Willard’s Brewery on 11/27 for a 5k fun run course that starts and ends at this awesome taproom in Pflugerville. Weave through the surrounding area at whatever pace you like, no matter what there’s a beer waiting for you at the finish line!

We are all about being active, having fun and giving back to our local community. Since our inaugural event (the Brewery Running Series was founded in Minnesota in 2012), we have been able to donate over $250,000 back to local nonprofits. This event will add to that tally! VIRTUAL FUN RUN – The Austin Trail of Lights Fun Run presented by Saucony, is back for its 10th year! Continue your annual tradition and kick off the holidays with a virtual run from November 27 to December 31, 2021.
Run, jog or stroll 3 miles anywhere between November 27, 2021 – December 31, 2021. Participants can choose to run around our city’s most celebrated landmarks, or a route of your choice. Whatever option you choose, keep it merry & bright!

Leander. The 6th annual Old Town Rudolph Run 5K takes place in Old Town Leander. This chip timed event starts in the heart of Old Town and tours through the streets of Leander. The course is flat and fast with no hills or rough terrain. This 5K will have limited participation, so sign up early to ensure you can join us for this exciting event.

Austin. In 1979, the Austin Runners Club organized a race on the roads around Decker Lake in east Austin. The Decker Challenge was born! Today, the Decker Challenge is one of the longest-running races in Austin.

Due to closures from the pandemic, we are moving our race venue to COTA (Circuit of the Americas) on Sunday, January 2nd, 2022. We are excited about the opportunity to race on the coveted COTA track and kick off the new year with a one of a kind racing experience!
