As you all know, Jessica has left Austin for “Baustin.”  As depressing as we are about her leaving the Capitol City, we know this move means great things for her and her family.  Jessica will not be gone forever–WAHOO!–she will still provide some guest blogs for us here and there, but she is sacrificing her role as an official contributor due to her…well…not being an Austin Mom!

So, we’re “hiring” again.  If you’re an Austin mommy or soon-to-be Austin mommy, we need you to help share you knowledge with our growing readership.  As we look ahead toward the growth and future of AMB, we would like to add more Moms to the regular contributor rotation. We also realize that there are ladies out there reading our blog who we don’t know (yet) and would make a wonderful addition to the AMB team!

So, here’s the “job” description – it’s on a volunteer basis.

  1. 6 month commitment, starting August 1.
  2. Available for quarterly Coffee and Catch up.
  3. Write TWO posts/month on Austin Moms Blog.
  4. Live in the Austin area and have a passion for moms.

How to apply:

  1. Send us the link to your blog OR send two articles that you have written to [email protected] by Wednesday, July 18.
  2. Include an explanation of why you’d like to be included on the AMB regular contributors list.

What you’ll get:

  1. Your photo and bio on the “About Us” section of AMB (and link to your personal blog if you choose to share it).
  2. Opportunity to test products for review as they come in (to be posted on AMB – and your personal blog, if you choose).
  3. Coffee shop meetings, hugs and playmates!

Here is your chance to share your love for our community and the moms in it!  We look forward to hearing from YOU!

  1. My suggestion for you guys is to try finding someone who has more experience beyond toddler years. For the past (almost) year, the majority of your blogs do not really apply to those of older kids. There are some real issues and experiences to be heard…lol! I think if you reach out to a different reader group, you will see your AMB reader base increase significantly!
