It’s the year of the dragon! Celebrate Lunar New Year at these incredible events throughout the city.

The Year of the Dragon is kicking off on February 10th. According to Chinese Zodiac, the dragon represents good luck, strength, health, and prosperity.

It’s the year of the Dragon and this year’s release, Power & Elegance is a very light and simple Jasmine Rice Lager with Tawainese Oolong tea and a Dragon Ball Tea.

Yellow Bell Tacos will offer an Asian inspired entree curated by Head Chef, John Bates. Rice is Right and Elsie’s Egg Rolls, two Asian Fusion Cuisine Food Truck will be set up to offer you plenty of delicious food options. And of course, ABW Can-tina will be on-site with Chef Enma.

Summit Lion and Dragon Dance Team performance at 1:30pm Austin Flea will be set up from 11am to 5pm with featuring a ton of local vendors.

Lunar New year Festival | February 10 | 1-2 | ACC – Northridge Campus

On Saturday, February 10, 2024 from 1-2 pm, the AAPI Cultural Center will host a Lunar New Year Festival at ACC Northridge Lecture Hall, Building 4000. LNY is one of the most important holidays for East and Southeast Asian cultures. It is celebrated by over 1 billion people around the world including China, Hong Kong, Korea, Singapore, Taiwan, Vietnam, and many more. Join us on Lunar New Year for an afternoon of enchanting performances featuring Lion Dance, Tai Chi, dance, and music.

2024 Lunar New Year Celebration | February 10 | 7-9 | Vandegrift High School Auditorium

Join us to celebrate with performances of Chinese traditional and modern music, dance, and singing. There will be Kung Fu (martial arts) and other performance from talented local artists, as well as prize drawing and more.

2024 LUNAR NEW YEAR FESTIVAL | February 18 | 11-5 | Paper + Craft Pantry

The third annual Lunar New Year Festival in East Austin! This year we will be celebrating the Year of the Dragon! We will be celebrating with this family-friendly event featuring over 30+ vendors of Asian descent, lion + dragon dance performances, kid-story time, face painting and so much more fun! Admission is donation based.
