Hello friends, I’m Denyse! I’m a native Houstonian, but have called Austin home for more than 11 years. My husband (aka Hubs) and I became friends in 6th grade, and we have been together nearly 14 years. We both went to UT, and we are HUGE Texas Longhorn fans!
I gave birth to my hilarious and strong-willed son in 2013, and Hubs and I have been trying to figure out this parenting business ever since. Sometimes, I feel like parenting is just one big experiment that we hope turns out OK. Hubs and I are so excited to raise our kiddo in this fantastically weird city, and we try to take advantage of everything Austin has to offer.
My faves: I love to travel; my favorite trips have been to Peru, Hawaii, and Alaska. Oh, and, I enjoy a good physical challenge, which is why I have run two half marathons, cycled 86 miles of the MS150 race, decided to have a natural birth, and hiked the Inca Trail. I am amazed by the human body!
My not-so-faves: I am so over diapers and ATX traffic.
