Hi! My name is Loni Meyers and I am so excited to be part of Austin Moms Blog!My husband, Rick, and I moved to the Austin area 9 years ago from the San Francisco Bay Area. We have three wonderful children that keep us busy and our hearts full. Vinnie (7), our oldest, is passionate about basketball, cub scouts, and has a thirst for knowledge that I can’t feed fast enough! Our middle child, Frankie (5), is a Mama’s boy, he enjoys hip hop dancing, cuddling and is happiest watching Netflix. Clover (2), is our little girl, who adores her family, her blanket, being goofy and all things girly.
As a family, we believe in spending all of our extra time together. We love discovering new parks, places to eat, and mini vacation spots. We often prefer our silly family photos over any posed family photo. We love hosting parties and opening our home to our friends and family.
I work in special education, as an educator. I love my job! (I get to hang out with 3, 4 and 5 year olds all day!!) When I am not working full time, I enjoy spending time with my family, home projects, cooking and crafting. I hope to inspire other Austin Moms in these areas.
