H-E-B holding ‘Texas-Sized Graduation’ celebration for Class of 2020

As if we didn’t already love H-E-B THIS much!!!! H-E-B is stepping in to make graduation season in Texas a little more “celebration” and a little less “confinement” during the coronavirus pandemic.

The San Antonio-based grocery chain announced that they will hold a “Texas-Sized Graduation” for high school and college graduates at 7 p.m. May 20 via YouTube Live.

“Be it high school or college, the Class of 2020 worked hard to earn their diplomas and we’re celebrating them,” the chain tweeted.

“Special guests” will be a part of the celebration, H-E-B said, but they have yet to be announced.

The pandemic has caused graduation ceremonies to either be postponed, held virtually, or held with restrictions in line with social distancing so this will be an extra special way to honor this year’s 2020 graduates.

In other news… how much are we loving H-E-B curbside?!?!

We all know how hectic life can be when you are hustling to get all the things done… to do lists upon to do lists. On that to do list is always the grocery list. Groceries for kid meals, snacks, meals and then adding on for family dinners, etc etc etc. And all we really want to be doing is enjoy our time doing other things.

For mamas, this can be such a stressor… but HEB Curbside makes this process, so easy! Simply create your order, peruse each department leisurely with a hot coffee in hand, making sure you have put together the perfect list. Select your time and then place your order. Simple as that!
