Spring Break: a much-needed respite from the post-holiday, pre-summer grind? Ehhh…perhaps. This is a special time of year where everything starts to feel like those last few seconds on Mario-Kart where the music and the cars speed up faster and faster until the end of the race, err school year. There’s cleaning up from the winter holidays, there’s still spring holidays on the horizon, there’s standardized tests prepping, there’s graduation ceremonies planning, there’s summer camps and vacations to book, and summer bods to crank out; who has freakin’ time and energy to plan a big Spring Break vacation? Especially when traveling at Spring Break is a nightmare…everybody and their dog and their CAT are EVERYWHERE you could possibly think to venture and prices are inflated…

Not having a big plan for Spring Break is not a big deal; there are PLENTY of amazing activities in and around Austin. Also, let your kids be bored. They won’t die. I am Gen X proof. I digress. Staycation Ideas 2024, LET’S GO!!!
