Hi! I’m Natalie McMahon, a Southern belle hailing from the heart of Louisiana, and now a proud Austinite since 2011. With a Bachelor’s in Mass Communication from LSU in hand (Geaux Tigers!) and after working in my field for a few years, I pursued my MBA at St. Edward’s University and graduated in 2015.

Fate had its way when I crossed paths with my now husband, a fellow Louisiana native, in the middle of the vibrant energy of Rainey Street in late 2015. United by shared connections and serendipitous encounters, our bond grew quickly, and soon we were inseparable.

Our family now thrives with two remarkable boys, Emmett and Patrick, navigating the whirlwind of raising “2 under 2”, including one with a special disorder. Patrick was diagnosed with MCADD shortly after birth, a rare genetic disorder in which his body is missing an enzyme making him unable to break down fats to use as energy. Despite the lifelong nature of the condition, we do our best to face it with resilience and manage it through diligent dietary care and fasting routines.

When not orchestrating the joyful chaos of parenthood at home, we enjoy exploring Austin’s family-friendly offerings, from parks and playgrounds to eateries and bars. Amongst the messy beauty of life with two boys, our family cherishes the opportunities Austin provides in nurturing our growing family and we absolutely love calling this city home.
