Who loves brunch? I know MOMS do! What shows Mom more love than not having to prep, cook or clean up the kitchen? The answer is nothing…well maybe adding a Mimosa to her meal. Check out these spots for Mother’s Day Brunch in Lakeway–perfect to celebrate the perfect Mom.
Mother’s Day is Sunday May 12 and reservations are already filling up. Check out some of my favorite spots in Lakeway, that will be open and offering a delicious Mother’s Day Brunch.
MorninGlory is open from 7 am – 3 pm and is first come first served. Whether Mom orders a fresh pressed juice, handcrafted latte or sparkling mimosa, both will pair nicely with their delicious brunch selections. My favorites are the acai bowl, dulce de leche french toast or the chicken and waffles.
Plate by Dzintra, in the Shops at the Galleria is hosting a special Mothers Day menu from 11-3:30pm. The Mothers Day menu highlights Croque Madam, Burrata with Fresh Strawberries and Basil and Plan to make reservations early.
The League, with multiple locations across town, including Lakeway, will be offering a Mothers Day brunch. The League offers a weekend brunch until 2pm on both Saturdays and Sundays. With $5 Mimosas or Bloody Marys’, your Mom is bound to have a smile. In regards to food, my faves are The League’s Smoked Salmon Avocado Toast and the Breakfast Sandwich.
The Lighthouse on the Lake offers brunch until 2pm. Take Mom for a view of the Lake (or what’s left of it) and indulge in a refreshing glass of sangria, Texas waffles or chocolate chip pancakes.
Or if you want to celebrate a little early, treat Mom to some time with you at a cooking class at Faradays. On Saturday, May 11, 5-7pm, sign up for ‘A Night out at the Gastropub with Chef Chuana DuBose!’ Join Chef Queenie DuBose for this flavorful delight. Menu includes: Parmesean and Roasted Tomato Polenta; Braised Skirt Steak, served with Oven Roasted Broccoli Crowns; and a tasty Peach Cobbler Cake for a sweet finish! The cost for this demonstration class is $59 per person.
