Mommy & Me Gardening Hour | 10-11 | Lady Bird Johnson Wildflower Center
Mothers and young children (18 months – 5 years) will learn basic gardening techniques and work together in the Little House Garden. Children and adults will learn basic gardening techniques, weed identification, transplanting techniques and basic child friendly plant knowledge.
Each pair will receive 1 terracotta pot and a plant. Pots will be painted at the beginning of class with both mother and child’s hand prints.
Space is limited and will be first come first serve.
Mother’s Day Brunch | May 12 | 10-2:15pm | The Ruby Hotel & Bar
The Ruby Hotel & Bar welcomes families this Mother’s Day, May 12th, for food and festivities. In honor of the cherished women in our lives, the Ruby will have live music, a complimentary mimosa for mom, and an elevated brunch buffet. Full service at the Ruby Bar will be available throughout the event. There are three seatings at 10am, 11:30am, and 1pm.
Annual Mother’s Day Brunch | May 12 | 10:30-2:30 p.m. | The Carillon
Celebrate Mom with The Carillon’s annual Mother’s Day Brunch, featuring an elegant buffet with countless gourmet options. Commemorate the day with a family photo at the Mother’s Day adorned photo booth just outside the Carillon entrance. $85 per person, $35 for children 6-12 years old, and free for children under 5.
