It’s just about Fall, y’all. Throw on your flannel (weather permitting), gather the fam, grab a PSL and hit these pumpkin patches in and around Austin.

If your kids are anything like mine, they will smile for more pics if they are having fun, so I like to seek out the most entertaining patches. These include everything from great food and local vendors, rides, face painting, animals, and even some corn mazes!
Indian Springs Ranch | 403 Elm View Way Manchaca, Tx
Open: September 23 – October 29
Hours: Th/F 2-6, S/Su 10-6
I don’t want to get your hopes up, but not EVERY farm on the list has zebras, camels and kangaroos. However, ISR does! They also have unique fall-themed photo-ops, face painting, jumping pillow, kids swings and playground, food & craft vendors.
Texas Pumpkin Fest | 8760 FM 2243, Leander, TX
Open: September 30 – October 29
Hours: Th-Su 10-7
This one has quickly become one of my family’s favorites! From the awesome photo ops, rides, delicious food, live music on certain days, barrel train, pony rides and more, the whole fam is guaranteed to have a great time and get those authentic smiles! P.S. Kids in diapers are free!
Crowes Nest Farm | 10300 Taylor Ln, Manor
Open: October 2
Hours: T-Su 10-7
This farm includes various animals to learn about and feed, pony rides, a hayride, and pumpkin patch. It’s sure to give an afternoon of fun!
Sweet Eat Fruit Farms | 14400 E State Hwy 29, Georgetown
Open: September 9- November 12
Hours: 9-6 Daily
From their petting zoo, corn mazes, pig races, pony rides, slides, jump pads and even fireworks, Sweet Eats will definitely take the cake, or pumpkin pie rather.
Robinson Family Farm | 2651 Bob White Rd
Open: September 23- November 5
Hours: 10-8 S&Su
This one might be more of a drive than some of the others for most of you Austinites, but Robinson Family Farm in Temple has a great Fall Festival that will give you the perfect pumpkin patch experience. With animals, a barrel train, bounce pads, axe throwing and some adult drinks including wine, this one will even get those authentic smiles from Mom & Dad too!
Dripping Springs Pumpkin Festival | 419 Founders Park Rd
Open: September 23- October 29
Hours: 10-7 S&Su
Perfect if you live near Dripping Springs or Lake Travis. This pumpkin patch includes uniquely themed weekends with over 50 fall inspired games, a petting zoo, art, face paint, lots of yummy food and drinks and so much more!
Sweet Berry Farm | 1801 FM 1980
Open: September 23- November 5
The scenic drive to Marble Falls is fun enough, but the fam can stretch their legs and go wild with all the activities upon arrival. They have all the classics like Hayrides, Pumpkins, Mazes, Scarecrow Stuffing, and you can pick your own flowers!
Mama Mary’s Farm | 5701 Williamson Rd
Open: September 30- November 12
Hours: W-F 10-6, S/Su 10-6
Family run and sweet as can be. Less than 30 minutes from Austin, you can pick out the perfect pumpkin, interact with animals, play on the farm, and so much more.
Elgin Christmas Tree Farm | 120 Natures Way
Open: Saturdays & Sundays in October
Hours: 10-7
The entry fee is paid at the entrance upon arrival – no reservations required. Once inside, browse varieties of pumpkins or purchase tickets for one of eight fun attractions. Enjoy some carnival style food, shaved ice, and cold drinks in shaded picnic areas. Take some awesome photos of your family and pets in the pumpkin piles that you’ll be able to enjoy for years to come.
Evergreen Farm | 242 Monkey Rd, Elgin
Open: October 7-29
Hours: F 1-5, S 10-5, Su 1-5
You can grab tickets for the pumpkin launcher, train ride and more in the gift shop for $3.50 but the premier event, the Pumpkin Hunt, includes a free wagon ride into the Christmas tree fields where mini pumpkins are hidden (one ticket gets you two mini pumpkins).
FREE Pumpkin Patches
“Free” with the assumption you’ll buy a pumpkin to go home and carve, of course! These are more straight-to-business, no fuss/no corn mazes, pop-ups. We love these because there’s no admission fee–which really helps save when you have a larger fam. These pumpkin purchases usually benefit a great cause, as well.
Tarrytown United Methodist Church | 2601 Exposition Blvd.
Running October 2-31 and open til 7pm every night! This centrally located patch is always a hit. Bring your pets, kids, and costumes and be ready to take pictures on your journey to find the best pumpkin! Proceeds from all patch sales go directly to: Zoe Empowers & The Trinity Center
Bethany UMC | 10010 Anderson Mill
Open: October 16 – October 31st
Hours: 11-7 Daily
The Pumpkin Patch is located in the front parking lot facing Anderson Mill Road. Enter at the light and turn left. Don’t miss their Trunk or Treat Event on October 31st!

St. Richard’s Episcopal Church | 1420 E Palm Valley Blvd

This Round Rock location was voted one of the Top 5 Church Pumpkin Patches in the Nation! Hey now! Each year they raise several thousand dollars to benefit local charities including Round Rock Serving Center, St. Richard’s Preschool Scholarships, Stoney Point ROTC, and Youth Missions, just to name a few. Volunteer opportunities and bulk orders available.
Bethany Lutheran Pumpkin Patch | 3701 West Slaughter Lane
