Wow! What an amazing week we’ve had at Austin Moms Blog! We hosted the first five rounds of the Best Baby Name in Austin Contest and it literally came down to the SECOND! We have people visiting out site from ALL OVER! It was amazing and do you see that last bar…yea…the one that’s way higher than the other? Well…that’s all of you! Thank you!
But, I’m not here to thank you, I’m here to tell you about some awesome updates in our mommy world. As some of you know, for seven months I have worked in Dallas five days a week while searching for the “right” job in the Austin area. Well…FINALLY…our prayers have been answered and I have been blessed with a great opportunity in Austin. Effective Monday I will serve as the Senior Communications Manager for IDEA Public Schools.
IDEA Public Schools is a 501 (c) (3) non-profit organization whose mission is to prepare students from undeserved communities for success in college and citizenship. IDEA Public Schools are new to the Central Texas Region and my role will be to educate the community on who we are, what our mission is, what our standards of excellence are and what makes us different. I’m so excited for this new chapter in my life and very excited that I’ll be a full time mommy to my sweet girl and a full time wife to my sweet man.
