WIW: Potterybarn Kids Bookshelf

I recently gave my two big boys room a makeover. I wish I had taken before and after pics because the transformation is pretty big. One of the purchases I knew I wanted was the Madison Bookshelf from Potterybarn Kids.

I was a bit nervous to make the purchase because the price is $129 (I ordered through the store to avoid paying shipping charges…which is how I make all my purchases there! FYI), I was really going to be upset if it did not live up to all I expected and hoped it to be.

After it came in my husband generously offered I batted my long eyelashes at my hubby and asked him to put it together for me. He did :). I absolutely LOVE this shelf, it was worth every dime in my opinion! I plan on getting another one for our youngest son’s room when it gets a makeover as well. He will of course have a different color though. When baby #4 gets here there will be one in that room too. It hold sooooo many more books that I thought it would. I could not be more pleased.

Here is the one in K & G’s room…it has the perfect home next to the closet door, so it is out of the way and I can make great use of the rest of the room’s wall & floor space!
