When Allison and I started Austin Moms Blog, we knew that eventually we would grow our blogging team. In our heart of hearts (as much as we’d like to think differently) we know it’s in your best interest to hear from different moms whose kids are different ages and who think and act differently than Allison and I do. So, without further delay, we are beyond excited to introduce you to our two new contributors, Jessica and Ashlee!

About Jessica:

Jessica is a self-proclaimed wanna be hippy mama. She lives in South Austin with her hubby and their daughter, Victoria. When she isn’t looking for holistic cures for diaper rash, she enjoys reading, yoga, cooking and traveling. We are looking forward to Jessica’s contribution to our blog and you can keep your eye out for several Worth It Wednesdays that she already has in cue!

About Ashlee:

Ashlee and I (Allison) go WAY back… like back to the late 90s. Think hairspray, butt glue, fake eyelashes, teased hair, crystals, high heels, and a fake tan. Yes, people I’m talking, pageants! Ashlee and I competed in a number of pageants together, but she absolutely kicked my a$$ in the Miss Austin Teen USA Pageant back in 1999. She walked away as the winner and I walked away as her bitter first runner up. Okay okay okay, enough about our glory days. Ashlee is the proud Mama to 3 THREE 3 adorable boys with her husband of 10 years and they live in Cedar Park! Ashlee and her hubby have recently started the adoption process and feel passionate about bringing home a little girl one day. When Ashlee isn’t wrestling her 4 boys at home she is making hair bows and also does monogramming. We are delighted to have Ashlee as a new guest contributor that can give insight to moms with multiple children, older children, and to parents who are either currently adopting or looking to adopt.

We are thrilled to have 2 new and very different Mamas joining Austin Moms Blog. Please give Ashlee and Jessica a BIG round of “likes”!!!
